All tours will include the following. The stations may vary depending on the size of the group. We can discuss what best suits the needs of your group.

Station One: Wagon ride around the farm with a special stop at the pumpkin patch. Here the children will learn about the life cycle of a pumpkin, how they get planted, how long does it take to grow and what they need to live.

Station Two: Next stop will be at our Let’s Learn Tent to listen to a story about how seeds grow and the children will get a chance to plant their own seed to take back to school and watch it grow.

Or an educational activity focusing on one of the following:

  • Seasonal changes on the farm,
  • Plants we eat,
  • Role of bees,
  • Farm machinery 
  • Fall celebrations.

Station Three: Visit the animals, horses, goats and bunny. Learn how to take care of the animals and what they need to live. Then have fun in our Playzone.

  • Minimum group size is 20.
  • Programs run rain or shine.
  • You have the right to cancel if the weather does not cooperate.
  • Depending on the supply of pumpkins each child will go home with a mini pumpkin/gourd OR the class will go home with a pumpkin suitable for carving.
  • Children are welcome to bring a snack and a time can be incorporated to the program at the discretion of the teacher. We have a picnic area available for your use.
  • Please ensure the children dress appropriately for the weather as the program is outside.
